Teaching Methods

The different modules consist of seminars, excursions, group work, and lectures so as to involve students actively.
Lecture halls and seminar rooms are equipped with state-of-the-art training media. Computer and laboratory practicals familiarise students with modern scientific tools.
Excursions and field experience to/on agroecological research sites, (organic) farms, farmers’ associations and biodiversity conservation projects place the theoretical knowledge in a practical context.
Based on regular feedback discussions between students and lecturers all modules are continually evaluated and constantly revised and improved.
